Impact Housing Association is a major provider of Supported Housing in Cumbria. We offer a wide range of housing with support. Our aim is to enable people to live as independently as possible, or build up the skills and confidence to live free from support.
We cater for people with a variety of needs and can provide this to people in their own homes or in our Supported Accommodation. The Eden Rural Foyer in Penrith offers housing and support to young people who need a springboard into independent living, learning and work.
Our Training services support people in developing their learning potential and operate throughout the County at various locations.
We are a major provider of support to those who are or have been suffering Domestic Abuse. The Let Go Domestic Violence project in Eden and rural Carlisle complements the existing provision by Impact Housing Association of the Refuge, Safe Housing and Floating Support. These services offer crisis intervention, safety planning and advocacy services to anyone suffering from domestic violence and abuse.
We work in partnership with many other support agencies, such as Cumbria Action for Social Support (CASS).
