South Lakes Foyer

Impact Housing and Kendal YWCA Ltd  are working in partnership and have opened the South Lakes Foyer, together we are offering supported accommodation for young people aged between 16 - 25 who must be engaged in education, employment or training to be eligible for accommodation, we have 14 one bedroomed self contained flats.  The flats are let on assured shorthold tenancies and our customers are allocated their own Independent Living Worker who will work with them to achieve their goals to live independently. The Positive Impact offer combines supporting customers with housing support needs alongside their own personal aspirations.  Our personalised customer offer allows us to work with our tenants in a flexible, innovating and holistic way.  Our Resource Centre is totally self sustained and a part of our revenue is generated through the meeting/conference room facilities and our offices to let. By hiring our meeting rooms and renting office space you will be contributing to the successful sustainability of a very valuable and essential resource to Kendal and the surrounding communities.  The Resource Centre offers an extensive community programme which includes CV Writing, Work Club, Letter Writing and "Computers for the Terrified".

MEETING ROOM

The meeting room is a bright, light and pleasant room. On a smaller scale than the conference room it is also well equipped and all needs can be provided for. A popular venue for ‘team meetings’ and smaller events. The room comfortably accommodates 12 persons theatre style and up to 10 persons boardroom style.

CONFERENCE SUITE

A large, tastefully presented room, the conference room accommodates up to 70 persons theatre style and 25 persons boardroom style. The room is exceptionally spacious and light with an impressive wooden floor. All needs are catered for including flipcharts, projector, hearing loop and any catering requirements.
