Impact housing are the biggest provider of care and support in Cumbria.

Through the care and support service, we work with you to overcome the many difficult situations you may face and feel unable to overcome alone. We aim to help those with greatest need and believe everyone should be treated fairly with respect and dignity. We believe you should have genuine choices in managing and overcoming the issues that are effecting your life.

We aim to support you at your time of need and do this in partnership with local agencies. We offer tailor made services to suit your requirements which include access to housing, drug and alcohol services, domestic violence refuge, mental health, debt and benefit advice.

Here are some more detailed examples of the types of help and support that are available through Impact Housing;

Assisting with domestic life and social skills to become more independent, finding you somewhere to live and setting up your home, providing help and access to other support or community services, work or training, dealing with other professionals, family and neighbours, advocating on your behalf, assisting with security of the home, personal safety, applying for benefits, budgeting and managing debt.
