South Lakes Foyer: Stricklandgate in Kendal offers accommodation for young people aged between 16 - 25 who are actively working towards achieving their goals and aspirations.  Our flats are let on assured short hold tenancies and our customers are allocated their own Independent Living Worker who will work with them to help them to achieve their goals to live independently. The Positive Impact offer combines supporting customers with housing support needs alongside their own personal aspirations. 

At South Lakes Foyer we have a team of dedicated, experienced staff including night workers on site to assist the young people and help them to maintain their tenancies.

Across our young people’s accommodation we focus on the talents and aspirations of the individual. Whilst staying with us, the young people will have a first class experience of flexible, personalised support and will have lots of opportunities to have fun, learn how to manage a home and live independently. We also have a range of facilities on offer in the South Lakes Foyer.  Pop in to our café Monday-Friday for refreshments and to use our ICT facilities.  There are also a range of rooms available for hire. 

COCHRANE MEETING ROOM

Our meeting room seats 15 theatre and between 8 & 12 at tables.  Video conferencing facilities are available in this room.

A bright, airy multi-purpose room with wooden flooring suitable for training events, conferences and dance/ exercise classes.  We can accommodate 70 delegates theatre style and up to 40 at tables - cabaret or boardroom
