Impact now has "extra care" accommodation in South Lakeland for older people who need a little help to live independently.
The scheme at Rowan Court, in Ambleside, provides 18 one-bedroom flats. There are communal facilities for tenants and local community groups to use and there is a care team based on site for those elderly tenants who need extra help to remain in their homes. (Extra care is subject to assessment by Social Services).
