Positive Impact

Our Positive Impact Service can make a real difference to your life. If you are ready to move on with your life we can offer safe, secure accommodation, opportunities to develop your skills and talent with a service that will be uniquely shaped around your needs. Our Foyers offer two types of temporary short term accommodation. We have flats in Penrith and Kendal, commissioned by Supporting People, that are dedicated to young people aged 16-24years who would benefit from initial support to develop their tenancy skills and work towards living independently.

Each young person is allocated a dedicated Independent Living Worker who will work with them to focus on the individuals talents and aspirations. Whilst staying with us, young people will have a first class experience of flexible, personalised support and will have lots of opportunities to have fun, learn how to manage a home and live independently. Our non SP funded flats are dedicated to young people aged 18-24 who are engaged in successful employment, training or education. They have access to mentoring from the Independent Living Workers based in the foyer for adhoc housing and wellbeing advice. Our personalised pathway approach means that young people who move into our Supported flats have the opportunity to move on to the Foyer flats enabling them to experience a greater level of independence before accessing longer term accommodation The Foyers offer a wide range of interactive in house training and up skilling opportunities that all the residents are welcome to attend.

There are 3 different referral paths depending on your individual circumstances (see links) If you are aged 16/17yrs please complete the Script and send this to the address on the forms. If you are aged 18-24 and require support in your accommodation please complete 18+ CAP Referral. If you would like to apply for a Foyer flat, without support and meet the criteria of being 18yrs + and in education/training or employment please complete our Foyer referral.
