Planned Maintenance Survey

Impact Housing Association have appointed Property Tectonics to undertake a Planned Maintenance Survey of Impact properties in order to plan spend for future improvement, repair and replacement works such as the kitchen, bathroom, windows, etc.  The information recorded will also help Impact Housing to measure performance in accordance with the Government Decent Homes standard.

A team of Property Tectonics surveyors will be carrying out the surveys from the end of November 2017 until January 2018. Please be aware that we are not making fixed appointments as the surveyors have a number of alternative addresses they can survey if you aren’t available. You do not therefore have to take time off work or wait in your property for a surveyor to call.

The survey should take no longer than 1 hour to complete. Please provide our surveyor with access to the inside and outside of your dwelling. The surveyor may ask also some questions about the property. As part of the survey, the surveyor is required and will request to take internal and external photographs including front and rear elevations, boiler, loft insulation, kitchen and bathroom.

All surveyors will carry a Property Tectonics identification card and an Impact Housing letter of authorisation. IF THE SURVEYOR DOES NOT HAVE AN IDENTIFICIATION CARD PLEASE DO NOT LET THEM INTO YOUR HOME. We would request that an adult (person over 16 years old) is present in the property at the time of the survey and that any pets you may have are suitably secured.

I would like to thank you in advance for your time and co-operation whilst the surveys are conducted. If you have any queries in respect of the survey, please contact us on 03448 736290.
