When we put this story together, earlier this year, we said that 2005 had been a truly horrible year for us. We never thought that we would end 2015 with a return yet again to the floods that devastated Cumbria in 2005 and 2009.

Nor did we think that, due to reductions in GOVERNMENT funding, we would be anticipating the closure of many of the supported housing schemes that we have spent so long developing.

These are difficult times for our tenants and communities and for Cumbria. Perhaps, now is a good time to remind ourselves that we have a proud 40 year history AND that throughout that time we have survived and thrived and will continue to do so.
