Letgo Safespace, Carlisle

The aim of the project is to provide housing with support for women and children escaping domestic abuse. Safespace is a shared house which has seven bed-sitting rooms and there is a communal living room with TV and internet access, a kitchen and laundry facilities. 

We have a team of dedicated, experienced staff including night workers available throughout the night. 

Across our DV service we focus on the talents and aspirations of the individual. Whilst staying in our accommodation, residents have a first class experience of flexible, personalised support. We offer support or help to access to other services which will help with the practical aspects of managing a tenancy and health and well-being including support with social activities, training and employment.  The support will encourage women to gain independence and regain control over their lives. Our team will support the women in the choices they make and will help them find permanent accommodation if appropriate.
