Impact's Winter Campaign 2020

Winter is coming

This year Impact Housing is running a “Winter is Coming” campaign to ensure our customers have all the information they need to be prepared for the winter months.

We will be providing lots of tips and advice on how to keep your home warm and safe, money saving ideas and support, flood advice and this year we are also aiming to contact our over 70’s customers with welfare calls to see if you need any help or advice.

Getting your home ready for winter

As we head into October we’re asking our customers to start to prepare for the winter ahead.

Before the colder months are upon us, test your heating system to make sure it is working correctly. We recommend you run the central heating for 20-30 minutes, as this will allow you to check that all radiators are heating up as expected. This means any problems can be resolved before the winter months, which should help to avoid any loss of heating or hot water when you need it most.
