Community and Youth Development Team
The Community and Youth Development team are committed to developing opportunities that raise the aspirations for our residents. Our team is mainly based in Salterbeck and Workington, however we do offer support through our Positive Future service throughout the county please see the Positive Future Page for more details; http://www.impacthousing.org.uk/positive-futures
CYD are the ‘Hub’ for Give and Gain and Takeover Day, taking on new enquiries, matching volunteers to roles. http://www.impacthousing.org.uk/volunteering
We are currently running a number of youth groups in Salterbeck and Workington for young people from 8-25 years of age and we also run a weekly Parent and Child activity and Family Sessions at Salterbeck. Below are the times of the different session that we have running.

Monday:
- 1.00pm - 2.30pm - Parent and Child Activities
- 5.00pm - 7.00pm - SPAA Doorstep Sports Session (14-25 years)
- 6.00pm - 7.00pm - Youth Group (14-16 years)
All based at The Oval Centre on Salterbeck.
Tuesday:
- 3.30pm - 4.30pm - Family Sessions (Children under 8 accompanied by an adult)
- 5.00pm - 6.00pm - Youth Group (12-14 years)
All based at The Oval Centre on Salterbeck.
Wednesday:
- 3.30pm - 4.30pm - Youth Group (School years 10 & 11)
- 5.00pm - 6.00pm - Youth Group (School year 8)
All based at Nook Street in Workington
Thursday:
- 5.00pm - 6.00pm - Youth Group (8-11 years)
Based at The Oval Centre, Salterbeck
