Impact is a community based Housing Association, committed to working in partnership with our tenants and the communities in which they live
Training provision whilst not our core business activity, is an increasing element of our activities, enhancing our other services and developing the existing support that we provide to the local community.
We have a number of training centres across Cumbria (which include Salterbeck, Carlisle, Kendal and Penrith) with the head office in Workington.
The provision of Basic Skills training is yet another service we offer to our Residents and the wider community. Building on our existing links with the local community we aim to reach those `in greatest need` as defined in our Mission statement` working with those groups `facing social exclusion,` who would not normally access training opportunities through more traditional routes.
We can deliver numeracy and literacy support to those who most need it, at venues they want. We have delivered training in our Training Centres, Community Centres Libraries and even people’s homes.
Whatever reason you have to improve your reading writing or reading skills we can help AND in a way which suits you.
