Support and help are provided on a range of social and living skills and in the following specific areas:
· Advice on benefits and money management.
· Information on education, training and job prospects.
· Health issues.
· Accessing leisure and other community facilities.
· Help with finding appropriate permanent accommodation.
· Impact staff will aim to provide this support directly. When it would be more effective for the resident, we will help them access other help and advice.
· Staff also offer emotional support to residents, and are able to help them access counselling and other specialist help and advice.
· Impact is committed to effective working with other agencies to enhance the service each resident receives.
Tenant’s rights - Each resident will be housed under the terms and conditions of an Assured Shorthold Tenancy agreement. Their rights are set out in this agreement and in the Residents Charter we give out to residents when they move in.
We are committed to consultation with residents and to giving them the opportunity to be involved and participate if they want to. We value each resident as an individual, and promote self-esteem, and self respect as well as the respect of others, both those living in the project, and in the wider community.
