E2E - ENTRY 2 EMPLOYMENT

What is E2E ?

E2E (entry to employment) is a new programme for young people aged 16-18 yrs old, and who aren’t in employment, education or training.

It looks at where you're at, where you want to be, and how to get there, in terms of training, personal development, workplaces, employment etc. It is very much led by the young person, and it depends on what they put in, as to what they will get out of the programme.

A training allowance of £45 per week is paid to the learner once they have successfully proven their eligibility and suitability for E2E. Training is for a minimum of 16 hours per week, this can increase depending upon the chosen route. The length of the programme depends upon the support required by the individual.

E2E at Impact is aimed at offering a small group environment, and each tutor will have a group usually between 7-11 people. This has many advantages, which include more attention to each individual and less scary for the new learner who joins.

So how do I start?

Contact Connexions, and tell them you're interested in E2E. They will set you up with a PA (Personal Adviser), who will work in harmony with your E2E Tutor. A referral is then made to your desired provider and you will have an interview, and if successful become a member of the group.
