Abbots Bank Pategill Floating Support

Moving On

King Street
This is a relatively new project, which we have just taken on.  The Eden team of Impact Housing Association has just taken over 3 self contained flats and 1 bedsit in Penrith, which will accommodate young people who can live independently with minimum support.  The tenants in these flats receive low level support from the staff members who work in Pategill House and Abbots Bank.  This is usually the last step in resettlement.

Bridge Street
We have 5 self contained flats on Bridge Street in Appleby.  These flats are for young people who can live independently in the community with low level support.  Support comes with the tenancy and a floating support worker will visit each tenant each week to help with any problems, queries, give advice and guidance.

Westgarth Grove
Impact have six self-contained flats at Westgarth Grove in Kirby Stephen.  They are designed for young people up to the age of 30, who can live independently.  Referrals for the flats come from Eden Housing Association and self referrals. Support is involved in the tenancy, in which a Floating Support Worker will visit once a week to help with any problems, queries i.e.. to check on rents, benefits and generally give advice and support.
