Impact is an Industrial & Provident Society operating under Charitable Rules. We are run by a voluntary Board, which is selected by our wider membership.

Membership of Impact has increased over the years, we now have 85 full members and 23 Associate members (these are tenants who have paid their membership fee but have restricted rights).

Anyone can apply to become a member of Impact Housing.  All you have to do is send £1.00, subject to approval by our Board, you will then receive a Share Certificate and become an Impact Member.  As a member of this sort of organisation, your share won’t increase in value- and if you leave you don’t even get your £1 back!

You can become a member if you are: a tenant or resident of Impact, an individual living in one of the communities we work in, a local community organisation, voluntary organisation, or other agency we work with.

Many people and organisations have wanted to join us because they believe in what we are doing and want to stay in touch with latest developments.  

• You are allowed to come to our Annual General Meeting and any Special Meetings to vote on major issues.

• You can stand for membership of our Board and Committees.

• You get to feel involved in a unique organisation.

• You receive some of the documents we produce- Newsletters, Annual Reports, etc  

• We are always looking for people who share our values and who want to make a difference
