On Thursday, Terry Wynn, Member of the European Parliament, carried out a whirlwind tour of training facilities in Cumbria. As part of that study visit, he visited Impact's new offices at Salterbeck in Workington.

Over the last 18 months, Impact has already helped more than 200 learners from their sites across Cumbria.  They offer advice & guidance along with help on Numeracy and Literacy in order to help develop skills and aspirations. Many of their clients- young people and people returning to employment- have now successfully moved into full time training or into jobs.

Terry Wynn spent time with a group of Learners, listening to some of their poetry readings.
