Do you have.
- a minimum of 2 years experience of working in either a child care, social care or nursing setting.
- NVQ level 3 in child care, social care or advice and guidance, or an NNEB or SEN/SRN/RGN nursing qualification.
- knowledge of Welfare and Housing Benefit.
- knowledge of Tenancy/Tenants Rights & Responsibilities.
- understanding/experience of supporting people within the community.
If you answered yes to some of the above questions then you could be the person to fill our vacancy for a Floating Support Worker (full-time 37 hours per week for first year reducing to 24 hours per week thereafter) based in our Women’s Services Team in Carlisle, providing support to teenage parents throughout the Carlisle, Brampton and Wigton areas. Hours of work will be between normal office hours – Monday to Friday, however, there will be an expectation of some out-of-hours work, including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays to meet the needs of the service. We offer the following terms and conditions:
- Salary £14,349 p.a. - £16,741 p.a. – 37 hours per week
- Salary £9,307 p.a. - £10,859 p.a. – 24 hours per week
- 6 weeks Annual Leave
- Generous final salary pension scheme
