All the sites accept donated second hand furniture which we can collect free of charge. The furniture is then made available as a priority to low income families but the projects are open to the general public. Furniture purchased can be delivered within the local area of each project.   In addition to furniture we also recycle electrical white goods.  

Health & safety is paramount so all soft furniture must conform to the fire retardancy regulations and be complete with fire labels, we also do not recycle gas appliances.

Any income we receive is used to ensure the projects are self sustainable and cover our operating costs.  To help to sustain the projects and allow us to expand CFS has obtained funding from various organisations including DEFRA, CRED and CRISP.
