Youthtastic

Youthtastic is a Workington based youth project.  We have  groups meeting on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 17.00 - 19.00, in our Youth Zone based in our nook street office in Workington.

We are open to all young people aged 12 - 19 year old Youthtastic offers:-

• A Safe, warm place to hang out with their friends and make new ones.  
• Youth workers are present at all times delivering sessions which are linked to every child matters framework.
• Residential weekend away to many different places.
• Community involvement such as Fun Days.
• National accreditation in various subjects.
• Alcohol, Drugs and sexual health sessions.
• Drama sessions -leading to performance.
• Arts and Crafts.
• Day trips.
• Computer/internet access.
• work shops.

All the activities the group take part in are chosen by the young people.  They are very much in control of things they take part in and have a great sense of ownership.
