Salterbeck Youth Group

The Salterbeck Youth Project offers provision for young people aged 8 - 19 years old.  We have groups meetings on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

Salterbeck Youth Projects offers:-

• A Safe, warm place to hang out with their friends and make new ones.  
• Youth workers are present at all times delivering sessions which are linked to every child matters framework.
• Residential weekend away to many different places.
• Community involvement such as Fun Days.
• National accreditation in various subjects.
• Alcohol, Drugs and sexual health sessions.
• Drama lesson-leading to performance.
• Arts and Crafts.
• Day trips.
• Computer/internet access.
• Work shops. 

On Salterbeck the Community Youth development Team also offers other Community Provision.  On Tuesday 12.30 - 14.30 we run a young parents group, which include, storytime, playtime, information about local services.  We also support local residents to develop activities.
