Cumbria Business Challenge for Macmillan a Resounding Success!

When we started the challenge last year we thought we would struggle to reach the target, but thanks to some imaginative ideas and the support of the staff, residents and friends we have raised a magnificent £1764.02.  It’s a great achievement and a real team effort – well done!

We will be presenting the cheque to Macmillan in Nook Street on Wednesday 15th February at 10 am.  If you would like to attend, please come along, we’d love to see you there.

In 2012 we will be supporting a different charity and a fundraising group has been set up, they have asked for suggestions of which charity to support and will be organising events throughout the year around the county.  If you would like to be involved in any way, please contact Janet King.
