Supported Accommodation for Women Fleeing Domestic Violence
Emergency Housing
We have accommodation, which is designed for women either with or without children who need immediate safe housing.
This is shared housing with additional security measures.
What is the project about?
The aim of the project is to provide housing with support for women and children escaping domestic abuse. The refuge has 7 bedrooms, with a communal lounge, kitchen and two bathrooms.
What kind of support is available?
There is staff available on site daily and night support workers available throughout the night. Each service user will have an individual support plan that meets their needs. The aim of the support plan is to encourage women to gain independence and regain control over their lives.
Each woman will be allocated a support worker, who will work with them and help them to make informed choices on issues that are important to them

How do I refer to the project?
We accept referrals from all voluntary and statutory agencies. Women can also refer themselves. We aim to accept all referrals, however we may be unable to consider referrals for women who are
In deciding on who to house, we will take into account the needs of the potential resident and balance this with the need to maintain a safe and secure environment for everyone.
Residents Rights
Each woman is housed under the terms and conditions of a licence agreement. Their rights are set out in this agreement and in the information provided when inducted into the scheme.
We are committed to consulting with and involving residents in, the planning and delivery of a high quality housing and support service.
