Entry to Employment and other Training

What Services Do We Offer?
We offer a range of tailor made training and development opportunities across the county, which include: This is designed for young people aged 16 to 18, with the aim of preparing them to progress into employment or further training. There are three elements to the training provided:
We also arrange relevant work placements for learners.
Our E2E services are very flexible and we aim to meet the needs of individual learners. Because of this some young people stay with us for just a short period, while others stay longer depending on their needs
Our experienced staff use a range of training methods, and we work with learners both on a one to one basis and in groups - whatever is most effective.
Learners on E2E are expected to attend for training for a minimum of 16 hours, up to a maximum of 30 each week. From June 2008, our Learners are eligible to receive the current Educational Maintenance Allowance of up to £30, plus travel expenses. In addition, Learners receive bonuses for attendance, gaining qualifications and progressing into employment or further training.
We can provide help with looking for and applying for jobs. This covers things like writing a CV, letters, filling in application forms and preparing for interviews.
Impact Training Services provide all of the services mentioned above across the County, from our sites in Carlisle, Workington, Whitehaven, Penrith & Barrow.
